Artist's Comments
Well, both of my parents are photographers, but I've never really been interested in photography. However, the same summer program that got me to do all those paintings and still lives also had a photography unit. So, I took a couple amateur shots (for the first time ever) and I got to even develop the film and print the pictures in an actual photo lab (also for the first time ever).
 So, obviously, these are not digital pictures.Please don't be too hard on me- this is one of the first photos ever that I actually put some thought into instead of just taking a regular snapshot Oh, and please excuse my scanner. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. To help support the Literature community we hold regular contests. It is an opportunity for you to get involved and gain some exposure. Contest winners will be featured in a news article and a journal entry--as well as other fabulous prizes.
